Mepras, Meperas

In order to achieve an established state in performing my dharma and prescribed duties and to obtain a deeper level of inspiration I felt urged to pay a pilgrimage to Uluwatu Temple, located in the most southern tip of Bali to receive further guidance from my great ancestors.
My wife and I and our five children went through a sacred ceremony not commonly performed called “meperas-mepras” through which one receives recognition as the descendant of a deceased person. More importantly it was a ceremony where I would receiver recognition as a disciple hungry for knowledge that previous great sages in Bali had received in their era, It is this Knowledge that I would like to receiver to perform my duties as wiku pangkon.
